The roof is approximately 60 years old it has no sarking. The leaks follow the link of the top ridge, we have recommend the client to go into the roof space to identify the leak points as there is no visible evidence of broken tiles.
There are ridges that do not appear to of been weep holed. However once roofs are of this age we would recommend replacing.

At Green Frog Roofing, we recently took on a job in Leichhardt that was a true test of our expertise. The client’s roof was a 60-year-old and had no sarking. The leaks followed the link of the top ridge and we recommended the client to go into the roof space to identify the leak points as there was no visible evidence of broken tiles. We also noticed that there were ridges that did not appear to have been weep holed. However, once roofs are of this age, we would recommend replacing them.
We recommended and performed Tiger Tail Installation to fix the leaks, we also removed it on completion. We also replaced the metal roof in the tile roof area, front veranda and also replaced the skylight heads. We also installed insulation to keep the home warm. We removed tiles and required flashings and installed a new galvanized fastened 70 x 35 battening system, foil backed anti condensation insulation blanket and Polynum X40 heat reflective insulation. We also installed .55 required flashings and Bremick B8 class 5 fixings. We are proud of the work we did and the homeowners were thrilled with the outcome. Love the Frog!
