Green Frog Roofing Takes on the Annandale Project_ A Comprehensive Roofing Solution

One such project we recently completed was the Annandale job. This comprehensive roofing solution involved a number of different services that were all executed to perfection. From the installation of tiger tails, to the removal and disposal of aerials, to the complete rebuild of the bullnose, and much more, this project was a true showcase of our expertise and commitment to quality.

Tiger Tail Installation
The first step in this project was the supply and installation of tiger tails. These tails are designed to protect the roof from strong winds and storm damage, and our team of experts was able to install them quickly and efficiently. Once the job was complete, we removed the tails, leaving the roof in perfect condition.

Aerial Removal and Disposal
Another component of the Annandale project was the removal and disposal of aerials. Our team was able to remove the aerials safely and securely, and disposed of them in an environmentally responsible manner. This step was critical to ensuring that the roof was free of any obstructions and ready for the next phase of the project.

Bullnose Rebuild
The front of the home was in need of a complete bullnose rebuild, and our team was up to the task. We began by removing the existing tiles, battens, and rafters, and then went on to supply and install a new upper fascia. We then installed a new bullnose framing system, followed by the bullnose roof sheeting in monument color. Finally, we installed a new surround flashings system to complete the bullnose rebuild.

Gutter and Downpipe Replacement
The front of the home also required a gutter and downpipe replacement. Our team removed the old guttering and replaced it with two new (old style) guttering units in monument color. We used galvanized screw fixings with external brackets for a secure fit, and installed downpipes as required. This step helped to improve the overall look and function of the roof, and added to its longevity.

Metal Roof Replacement – Front of Tile Roof Area
To complete the front of the tile roof area, our team removed the tiles and required flashings, and then installed a galvanized fastened 70 x 35 battening system. We then supplied and installed X 40 Polynum super heat reflective insulation, along with .55 required flashings in the specified color. The final step was to install a Custom Orb Colorbond roof sheeting in monument color, along with Bremick B8 class 5 fixings.

Metal Roof Replacement – Upper Rear Metal Roof
For the upper rear metal roof, our team removed the roof sheeting and required flashings, and then installed treated timber battening with galvanized fixings. We also supplied and installed X 40 Polynum super heat reflective insulation, along with a Trimdek .48 Colorbond roof sheeting in Surfmist color and .55 required flashings in the specified color. Finally, we installed Bremick B8 class 5 fixings to complete the metal roof replacement.
