SUMMARY
At Green Frog Roofing, we were ecstatic to tackle a new project in the beautiful suburb of Leichhardt! This amazing job entailed giving the rear metal roofs a complete makeover.
We began by safely removing the existing roof sheeting and flashings, as well as the old box gutters. We then installed a new framing system to accommodate the new box gutter system and removed the cladding on the rear wall. Next, we installed a sturdy and long-lasting galvanized fastened 70 x 35 battening system to provide a solid foundation for the new roofing materials.
We added a layer of Polynum X40 heat reflective insulation to keep the attic space cool and dry and for the roofing itself, we used high-quality Trimdek .48 Colorbond Coolmax roofing in the stunning color of Thredbo White. This material is known for its durability and resistance to severe weather conditions. We also installed new flashings in coordinating color, to give the whole roof a cohesive look.
To finish off the job, we replaced an existing skylight with a new, non-vented dome-type skylight in opal color. This brought in more natural light and provide better ventilation. We also installed new ACE mini line fast flow gutter with overflow in Heritage Red color on rear left side and a roof vent in Surfmist color above the bathroom.
We were thrilled to see the final result of this project and were confident that the homeowners were ecstatic with their new roof. As always, we stood behind our work with a 12 month guarantee for complete peace of mind.
