SUMMARY
At Green Frog Roofing, we recently completed a job in Earlwood where we were tasked with replacing the metal roof of the main home and disposing of the existing solar hot water system.
First, we removed the tiles and any necessary flashings. Then, we installed a galvanized fastened 70 x 35 battening system and a foil-backed anti-condensation insulation blanket to improve energy efficiency. We also supplied and installed custom Orb .48 Colorbond roof sheeting in the Iron Stone color and the required flashings. All roofing materials were securely fastened with Bremick B8 class 5 fixings.
After the roofing replacement was complete, we disconnected and safely disposed of the solar hot water system. The homeowner was pleased with the end result, which not only improved the appearance of their home but also increased its energy efficiency.
