At Green Frog Roofing, we recently had the pleasure of working on a project for a lovely young family in Annandale. The family had reached out to us for help with their roof, which had been showing signs of wear and tear over the years. We were excited to take on the job and deliver exceptional results that would exceed their expectations.
To start, we focused on rebuilding the bullnose at the front of the home. This involved removing the existing tiles, battens, and rafters, and replacing them with a new upper fascia, bullnose framing system, and bullnose roof sheeting in the color monument. We also installed a new surround flashing system to ensure proper protection against the elements.
Next, we replaced the guttering and downpipes at the front of the house with two old-style guttering systems in the sleek color of Monument. We used galvanized screw fixings with external brackets and installed downpipes as required to ensure that water flows away from the home and prevents any potential damage. With this upgrade, the family can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their home is well-protected from the elements.
For the metal roof replacement on the front tile roof area, we removed the tiles and required flashings, and installed a galvanized fastened 70×35 battening system. We also installed 40 Polynum super heat reflective insulation and .55 required flashings in the chosen color, before finally installing Custom Orb Colorbond roof sheeting in the color ‘Monument’. The finishing touch was the installation of Bremick B8 class 5 fixings to ensure durability.
For the upper rear metal roof, we removed the roof sheeting and required flashings and installed treated timber battening with galvanized fixings. We also installed 40 Polynum super heat reflective insulation, Trimdek .48 Colorbond roof sheeting in the color Surfmist, and .55 required flashings. The project was completed with the installation of Bremick B8 class 5 fixings, ensuring the longevity of the roof.
